1. Information We Collect

During onboarding, users are asked to provide a name (which can be a nickname) and choose an avatar. No other personal information is requested.

2. Data Storage and Security

Most user data is stored locally on the device, with optional backups to iCloud. Some gameplay and usage data is transmitted to trusted third-party services (see below) to help improve the app and measure engagement.

3. Third-Party Services

We use only the following third-party services:

• Apple iCloud (optional backups)
• App Store (in-app purchases)
• Apple App Analytics
• Google AdMob (for optional rewarded ads)
• GameAnalytics (for anonymous gameplay analytics)

AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data. GameAnalytics collects anonymous gameplay and usage data (such as game sessions, in-app events, device type, and operating system). No personal information like names, email addresses, or payment details are shared.

4. In-App Purchases

All purchases are handled by Apple. We do not store or access payment data.

5. Age-Appropriate Advertising

When users choose to watch rewarded ads, we rely on Google AdMob to serve age-appropriate content. However, we cannot guarantee the content of all ads. Parents should supervise their children's use of the app.

6. Game Center Integration

Game Center features (like leaderboards) are optional and only activated when a user interacts with them.

7. Children's Privacy

Animalz is designed to be safe for children. We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable child privacy laws.We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The nickname and avatar selected during onboarding are stored on the device and synced via Apple's CloudKit (if the user has an active iCloud account). This data remains within Apple's secure ecosystem and is not transmitted to our servers or used to identify individual users.Third-party services (GameAnalytics and Google AdMob) collect only anonymous, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify individual children. No names, email addresses, photos, location data, or other personally identifiable information about children is collected or shared with third parties.User data synced through CloudKit is protected by Apple's security and privacy standards. Parents can manage iCloud sync through their device's iCloud settings. All app data can be deleted by uninstalling the app, and iCloud backups can be removed through the device's iCloud storage settings.If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

8. Your Privacy Choices

• Ads are entirely optional — users choose whether to watch rewarded ads for in-game benefits
• You can disable Game Center or iCloud
• Deleting the app removes all local data

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." While we strive for a high-quality experience, we do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices or future iOS versions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App, including loss of data or in-app purchases.

11. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update the App or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are made implies acceptance of the updated Terms.

Welcome to Animalz! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Animalz app ("the App"), developed for iOS. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

The App is intended for users of all ages. However, if you are under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country), you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App.

2. User Data and Privacy

You are required to provide a user name (which can be a nickname) and choose an avatar to use the App. No additional personal information is requested. All user progress and data are stored locally on your device and optionally backed up to your iCloud account, if enabled.

We do not collect or transmit personal data to any external servers.

3. In-App Purchases

Animalz includes optional in-app purchases, such as premium animal extension packs. All purchases are processed and managed by Apple via the App Store.

All transactions are final and non-refundable. If you experience issues with a purchase, please contact Apple Support directly.

4. Rewarded Advertisements

The App may offer optional rewarded video ads, for example, allowing additional gameplay beyond the daily limit. These ads are served by third-party providers such as Google AdMob.

Viewing these ads is entirely optional and never required to use the App. If you choose to view an ad, your device may share technical information (such as ad performance data) with the provider.

5. Game Center

The App may integrate with Apple Game Center to support features such as leaderboards. Participation is optional and requires an Apple ID. Apple's own terms of service and privacy policy apply.

Your Game Center nickname and progress data may be visible to other users in leaderboards if you choose to participate.

6. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All content in the App—including graphics, animations, sounds, card designs, and quiz material—is the property of the developer or used under appropriate license and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App's content without express permission.

Some animal images used in the App are sourced from pixabay.com, pexels.com and wikipedia.org. These images are used under their respective free commercial use licenses, which do not require attribution. We thank the photographers and the communities for making such resources available.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Exploit bugs or manipulate gameplay unfairly
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or tamper with the app's code
• Infringe on any intellectual property rights

Inappropriate behavior may lead to loss of progress or gameplay issues on your device.
